University of West London
University of West London, earlier known as The Lady Bayron School was established in the year 1860 and merged with colleges such as Thames College of Higher Education, Ealing College of Education, Queen Charlotte’s College of Health Care Studies and therefore the London College of Music. After being granted university status in the year 1993, the polytechnic became the Thames Valley University. The University officially changed its name to the University of West London and also appointed a new Chancellor all in the year 2011. Five years after the change of name, the Ealing campus underwent a massive renovation. They built libraries, restaurants, gyms, studios, cafes, teaching spaces, radio stations, social areas and auditoriums. In 2021, Ruskin College, Oxford, joined the University. The University of West London offers foundation programs, postgraduate and undergraduate programs as well as research or PHD programs.
