There are five different academic schools at Heriot-Watt University. The undergraduate programs at the School of Energy, Geoscience, Society, and Infrastructure, include architectural engineering, civil and structural engineering, geography and urban studies, construction project management, biology, and urban studies. It also has postgraduate civil, water, and safety engineering programs, building, planning, urban design, energy and renewables, construction management, geoscience, petroleum engineering, marine, environment, climate change, housing and real estate, and social policy. The university’s School of Engineering and Physical Sciences offers engineering degrees in many different fields, such as chemical, mechanical, computer science, electronics, and electrical engineering. It also has Bachelor of Science degrees in both physics and chemistry.

A variety of scholarships you can apply for
1. Bicentennial Award
A discount of AED 8000 will be awarded to any student (foundation, undergraduate, or postgraduate, including MBA) applying and paying the tuition fee deposit by 15th May 2022 for the September 2022 intake. This award is applicable to students who have received an unconditional offer letter or a conditional offer letter from the university.
2. Full Advance Fee Payment Discount
A discount of 3% of the net annual tuition fees will be awarded to any student (foundation, undergraduate or postgraduate) who pays their net annual tuition fees in full before 1st September 2022 for the September Intake.
3. Family Scholarship
Family Scholarships of 3,000 AED will be offered when two or more students from the same immediate family enroll for any foundation, undergraduate or postgraduate program.
Immediate family members include parents, spouses, and siblings. This scholarship will not apply to the first enrolled student but only to the second, third, etc., family members.
4. Sports and Community Engagement Scholarship
A scholarship of up to 30% of the tuition fee for up to 30 students will be offered to students who have excelled in any sport, community engagement activities, or extracurricular activities at the national or international level.

Students applying to the Petroleum Engineering postgraduate program in the September 2022 Intake would be granted a 25% tuition fees waiver.
Entry requirements
There are different entry requirements for programs offered at Heriot-Watt University Dubai and vary accordingly for foundation, undergraduate, and postgraduate applications.
